Welcome to 'A SHOT WITH' an exclusive time where we take a deep dive into the lives of our SOG fam. From the OG crew to our extended family they'll dish on everything from career highs to late-night musings. This is 'A SHOT WITH' – Episode 02 featuring Fábio Galvão (hatory pabllo).

Where imagination takes flight

"I love being at home," Pabllo starts off, a testament to the sanctuary he finds in his personal space. His creative inspirations are drawn from many sources including his mind, personal tastes, past, future, younger people, Japan, his dreams, God and good-hearted people. Multitasking mentally is his norm; some thoughts come around so rapidly that he finds it difficult to encapsulate them in a single moment. Sometimes, he experiences flashes of brilliance and clarity.

"Spontaneous thoughts can bring pressure and may be misleading," he says. What we think can be wrong or right; after all, thoughts are just thoughts, not definitive truths. Engaging in long conversations and sharing ideas freely is something he values deeply. "Never change? Damn, unless you're a really good person," Hatory jokes, hinting at the rare individuals who get it right.

The timecapsule inspiration

Influences for Fábio come from his neighborhood. He has always been curious and wanted people to know who he was, aspiring to have his name on walls. Society undeniably shaped him, introducing stereotypes that he now navigates through his work.

What drives him most is the combination of his interests and the impact they had on him in the past. Nostalgia plays a huge role, with the past influencing how he integrates futuristic ideas into the present. People who do things, have objectives and don't give up on being something also stand as great sources of inspiration.

Worldwide Ambitions

"I wish people were more creative and spoke less nonsense," he says, underscoring his yearning for more meaningful dialogues. His dream destination? Tokyo, although he feels somewhat out of place in Portugal. Nevertheless, it's where he intends to stay. South Korea also intrigues him.

Regarding food, Japanese tempura and Portuguese pastries are his comforts, with pastel de nata reigning supreme. "Pastel de nata is the best pastry in the world; there are no better pastries than Portuguese ones," he declares with confidence.

Musically, "Gettho Dreams" by Fat Pat is currently resonating with him, an appropriate anthem for someone with expansive dreams like Fábio's.

In this episode, Fábio Galvão opened a window into his imaginative mind, clearly showing that his journey with SOG is just beginning. From profound personal reflections to ambitious career goals, he exemplifies the power of creativity. Stay tuned for what's next from Hatory Pabllo and the SOG family.
